My research interests sit at the intersection of signal processing, embedded sensing, machine learning,
and computational approaches to understanding information in complex systems.

- Undergraduate research in the Computational Neural Information Engineering Laboratory (CNIEL).
- Encodes images with DINO feature representations and selects additional unlabeled examples per class to augment a labeled training set.
- Optimizes the von Neumann entropy of the labeled set unioned with a selected unlabeled subset, using a scaled log-probability soft penalty to preserve likelihood constraints.
- Research direction supports my broader interest in signal processing, machine learning, information-theoretic objectives, and computational methods for real-world sensing problems.
